Start off your bending and stretching journey with Om Petalhead in this level 1 Flexibility exercise, brought to you by Special Olympics.
[MUSIC PLAYING] High five, champ. Flexibility, level one. Hi there, friends. My name is Om, and I'm so glad you're here. Are you ready to get your muscles super flexible and bendy today? Before we begin, remember that healthy bodies eat, drink, and move. That means-- Eating from all five food groups every day, especially fruits and vegetables. Drinking at least one bottle of water every day. And moving for 60 minutes or more every day too. Are you ready? Let's go! Today, we're practicing being strong warriors. I bet you're going to be great at this one. It's called Warrior I. Start by putting your left leg out in front of you and raising both hands over your head with your palms facing one another. That's great! And we'll hold that for 15 seconds. Ready? Go. Keep your belly tight, and reach for the stars. That's it. Reach, reach, reach, reach. Don't forget to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Now, release. Whew! Let's switch legs. Right foot out in front this time. 15 seconds again, and go! Keep going and keep breathing. Wow! Look how powerful you are. Great work. Your body can do amazing things. And way it go. Great job, GoNoodle. Are you ready for level two? I know I am.
