The Amazing Arnstar gives a tutorial of his favorite style of dance, LiteFeet.
Hey, what's up, y'all? This is Arn Star. You're rocking with Blazer Fresh. Got my boy, Xavier, and my boy, Rasheem. What's up, man? Get that right. So we going to make it happen. Y'all ready, world? We got some dance moves for y'all. This is from a dance style called lite feet, which is born in Harlem, just like me. All right, so we're going to start off with a popular dance called the original "Harlem Shake." So get your shoulders ready and let's do it. So we're going to start with the first moves. It's more upper body movement. So we're going to do like a scoop likeness with the arm and throw our shoulder up. And this man, like this. Boom, boom, boom, boom. All right. So we're going to try it again. You guys ready? Want to do it again? Got it. OK. So we, scoop, boom. Scoop, boom. Scoop, shoulder. Scoop, shoulder. All right. So you're probably wondering what you want to do with your legs. You're going to move your feet in a marching-like manner. So it's going to be a, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2. That's just for the feet. Remember what I said about the shoulders? So it's 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2. All right, now we're going to put it together. We're going to move the shoulder, we're going to do the scoop and the step all in one motion. You guys ready? Let's do it. Let's do it. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Again. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Getting it now. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. One. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Nice. All right. Not so bad, right? Let's try some music, guys, shall we? Let's make it happen. DJ Robbie Fresh, throw that beat on. [MUSIC PLAYING] That sounds familiar. Yeah, this sounds like something we did before. Yeah, let's start with the leg. You can start with the leg. You start with the leg like this. All right, let's do it. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. [UPBEAT MUSIC] Let's have some fun with it. Hey. Hey. Hey. Tell them. Tell them. Ooh. Ah. Oh. Go up with it. Go up with it. Go down with it. Go down with it. Pull your feet back. Pull your feet back. [INAUDIBLE] Yeah, yeah. Hey, hey. Hey. Harlem Shake. Uh. [INAUDIBLE] Hey. Little more. There you go. Whoo! All right. [INAUDIBLE] I see you there. OK, mate. Aye. I see you. [LAUGHS] This one is called the Tone Wop. Tone Wop. Tone-- Tone Wop. Tone Wop. Tone to the tone to tone to Tone Wop. Yeah. [LAUGHS] All right, so this is another simple, basic step that you can really liven up. So what we're going to do is, we're going to start with our feet movement. We're just going to do a-- step, twist, back. All right? So it's a-- step, twist, back. So in a more faster motion, it's like this-- step, twist, step, twist, step, twist, step, twist, step, twist, step, twist, step, twist, step, twist. All right? Now that's the bottom motion. Top motion-- when you twist, you're going to bring your arms out and bring it in for a snap. [SNAPS] Arms out, and bring it in for a snap. [SNAP] Arms out, and bring it in for a snap. [SNAP] Arms out, and bring it in for a snap. [SNAP] So let's see how we can put that together. Are you ready? Let's get it. 1, 2, 3, let's go. Step, twist, snap. And step, twist, snap. Step, twist, snap. Step, twist, snap. Hey. Step, twist, snap. Step, twist, snap. Step, twist, snap. Step, twist snap. Perfect. You like that? I think you can add some seasoning to that. [HISSES] Yeah? Let's go. [BABBLES] You like that? Let's get it. Let's try to put it to some music and see how it looks when it's in real time. [INAUDIBLE] Lets do it. DJ Robbie Fresh. Robbie. Make it happen. [MUSIC PLAYING] Oh, it's one of my faves. Mm-hmm. [INAUDIBLE] [INTERPOSING VOICES] [INAUDIBLE] like that one. Hey. You'll like this one too. 1, 2, 3, let's go. Step, twist, snap. Uh. Step, twist, snap. Yeah. Step, twist, snap. Step, twist, snap. OK, step, twist, snap. Step, twist, snap. Step, twist, snap. Step, twist, snap. Yeah. Let's go with it. Keep on rocking with this. Hey. Tone Wop now. You're getting it now. Oh, I see you. I see you getting nice. Now we can spice it up. We can spice it up. Switch it. Next one-- we can switch it, spice it up. You can. Switch, ah. Switch. Get it. [INAUDIBLE] flip. Get it. Ha. Hey. Jump. Hey. [INAUDIBLE] Hey. [INAUDIBLE] ha. OK. [INAUDIBLE] [GROOVING ON MUSIC] [SNAPS] [SNAPS] Whoo! [INAUDIBLE] [MUSIC PLAYING] [INAUDIBLE] I see you over there. Yeah, I see you have a little thing going, bro. It's next up. So that's called the Tone Wop. Don't be afraid to really jump around and get that going. All right, let's take it to Brooklyn, shall we? Ooh. This one comes from Brooklyn right here. This is called the Milly Rock. [VOCALIZING] Now what? The Milly Rock. Oh, what? Any block. The "Milly" what? The block. On who? On anybody. [INTERPOSING VOICES] I said "Rock." On what? Any block. Milly Rock on any block's case Any block. That's right. OK, so even though Litefeet comes from Harlem, it's spreading in the whole New York City. It spreading out to the whole New York City. And so Brooklyn brought this great dance move called the Milly Rock. And so now it's incorporated into the movement, and this is how it goes. It's another scoop-like movement. But this time, it's a little bit more simpler, and you're just going to move your body with a scoop. So we scoop. Then we move our body. We scoop, and then we move our body. We scoop, and we move our body. We scoop, and we move our body. All right? Gotcha. I like that. You got it? Smooth. You got it? Let's get it. [INAUDIBLE] killing practice every day. Yes. [LAUGHS] [INTERPOSING VOICES] OK, so let's get some music going, and let's see how the Milly Rock look in real-- life-- time. Let's go. [MUSIC PLAYING] Ooh. Mm. Let's go. Scoop, body. Scoop, body. Scoop, body. Scoop, body. Scoop, body. Scoop, body. Scoop, body. Let's do it. One more time-- scoop, body. Scoop, body. Scoop, body. Scoop, body. Scoop-- Hey. --body. Scoop, body. Scoop-- again. Scoop, body. Ooh. Scoop. Hey. Scoop-- Scoop. Scoop. Uh-huh. You can. OK. [INTERPOSING VOICES] Now let's turn it up a little bit. Now we turn it up. Yeah. Let's do it. [GROOVING ON MUSIC] Whoo, ooh. Whoo. Hey. Catch it. Catch it. Catch it. Throw it to me. Yeah. That's yours. Get it. Whoo. Hey. Hey. [CLAPS] All right. [INTERPOSING VOICES] My man. Awesome. That was Blazer Fresh, baby. [MUSIC PLAYING] Are you ready? [GROOVING ON MUSIC] You can scream it out when you do it, too. Lot of flavor. Like this. OK. Hey. Harlem Shake, Harlem Shake. Tone Wop-- Hey. Hey. --Tone Wop. Milly Rock, Milly Rock. Harlem Shake. Then you do the Tone Wop. Hey. Harlem Shake, Harlem Shake. Tone Wop and Tone Wop. Milly Rock, Milly Rock. Harlem Shake. Then you do the Tone Wop. Hey.
