All teachers understand the value of creating a classroom community where all students feel safe and a sense of belonging - but many teachers may not have the time to search for resources or know where to get started. We’re here to help! Join us in reigniting the power of inclusivity in your classroom by following these four steps.

1. Choose to Include! Bring Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools® to your classroom by using their easy lessons and resources to support students of all ages and abilities. These lessons are available in multiple formats and help ensure that the core themes of inclusion are embedded in your classroom community.
2. Learn from others: Hear first-hand from other teachers that have made a positive impact at their school by incorporating inclusive support tools and resources and have started a Unified Champion Schools program.
3. Lead by example: Spread the knowledge by sharing the resources you’ve gained with your school and get your whole school engaged! Create an entire school community that values acceptance and respect to positively impact your school climate. Include all students, teachers, staff, and school leaders to help influence how students think and act both inside and outside of school.
4. Get started! The sooner you can get started, the better. Inclusive Schools Week takes place from December 5-9th, so beginning today is the perfect chance to celebrate your hard work and efforts in December!
